Emilia Clarke on ‘Esquire’s’ sexiest woman alive cover: ‘That’s me Photoshopped and drunk’

“They just kept giving me vodka,” she said, laughing. “That’s me drunk. That’s me Photoshopped and drunk.”

“Damn straight,” she told ET, acknowledging the perceived double standard between male and female nudity. “Khal Drogo hasn’t been around for a while, so yes.”

Despite wanting to see more… err… “members” of Westeros, Clarke noted that she’s incredibly proud to be a part of the series.

“It gets critiqued so often, and I think it’s silly because I feel like we are a show at the forefront of feminism being kicked back again into the ether,” she told ET. “So many fabulous strong women, so I think we’re doing alright.”
