A select few fans from around the world gathered at the London Place Theatre to finally learn what is happening in the wizarding world 19 years after the events of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
Before the show, fans took to social media to share their excitement and anticipation for what was about to come.

Before the show began, Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling appeared in a video asking fans to keep the content of the play a secret. Afterward, she reminded fans to be extra-careful about spoiling the play by using the hashtag #keepthesecrets.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child officially opens on July 30 at the Palace Theater in London.
