Fuller House Takes Home Choice Comedy TV Show at Teen Choice Awards

The Fuller House cast has reason to celebrate – they’re taking home a big win from the Teen Choice Awards.

The hit Netflix reboot won choice TV show in the comedy category at Sunday’s awards show, beating out Austin & Ally, Jane the Virgin, Liv and Maddie, Modern Family and Scream Queens.

Several of the show’s stars took the stage to accept the award, including John Stamos, Andrea Barber, Candace Cameron-Bure and Jodie Sweetin – and of course, they used many catchphrases from the show that have endured for decades.

“Hola, Teenaritos!” Barber said, adding a spin to Kimmy Gibbler’s famous Tanner family greeting.

“Oh, Mylanta,” added Cameron-Bure. “I can’t believe we won!”

“And if you didn’t vote for us, how rude!” chimed in Sweetin.

Cameron-Bure then took a moment to thank the show’s fanbase.

“Hey guys, we are here because of you, because you kept us on the air for 30 years, so we thank all of you,” she said. “We thank your parents, we thank your grandparents.”

She continued: “We want to thank our TV parents because we would not be here without John Stamos, Lori Loughlin, Bob Saget and Dave Coulier … and it all started with one man, the creator of Full House and Fuller House, Jeff Franklin, thank you, we love you.”

“We get to work every day with our best friends,” added Sweetin. “It’s amazing.”
