Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Recap: Lisa Rinna Calls Rumors She Gossiped About Yolanda Foster’s Kids a ‘Major Injustice’

This is strange sentence to write in 2016 during this latest season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: Poor Lisa Rinna.

Rinna, who has spent much of this season talking to everyone else about all of their problems – who has fought with whom, about what, when, why and how – found herself blamed for a conversation she actually had nothing to do with, during Tuesday night’s episode.

Or maybe that was all just the editing. Anyhow:

Yolanda Foster sat down with Kyle Richards and Lisa Vanderpump and shared with them how upset she was by their insinuation that two of her children, Anwar and Bella Hadid, did not in fact have Lyme disease.

It appeared as though Foster told Vanderpump and Richards that Rinna told her about these rumors that Richards and/or Vanderpump were connected to, which in turn upset Vanderpump and Richards.

How dare Rinna suck them into the Lyme disease gossip, they said.

“I’m absolutely shocked,” Vanderpump said. “I had no part in that, not one iota.”

But in fact it was Erika Girardi who first told Foster about the rumors surrounding her children – and Girardi was only sharing with Foster the chatter she’d heard from an earlier dinner party, which did involve Rinna (and the other women).

A thickening plot, indeed.

All of this came further to a head when the group got together for a trip to see Girardi perform (at at San Diego gay club) and, on their way there and afterward, Vanderpump and Richards tried to figure out who had talked.

So while on the one hand, yes, Rinna was not the one who told Foster about these rumors, she has had her mouth in many a piece of gossip this season (not to mention a very awkward sit-down with Foster last week). So it’s easy to imagine why the other ladies had a hard time extending her the benefit of the doubt … which somehow made it a bit more unfortunate for Rinna, caught between this rock and a hard place.

Or in her own words: It was all a “washing machine” of innuendo, double-speak and confusion.

A “major injustice to me,” Rinna said, adding, ” I hate that.”

An episode-ending, clear-the-air session was no less satisfying. Now joined by Girardi after her show, the women pressed each other to confess. Who had talked to Foster about this gossip about her kids?

Girardi – well within her friend rights to share with Foster the gossip about Foster’s own children – refused to come clean.

“I am the person who told, 100 percent … but I don’t want to talk about this right now,” she told the camera.

(The episode, especially unclear in its editing, even seemed to jumble this conversation so that suddenly Eileen Davidson was yelling at everyone else about the whole thing out of nowhere.)

Rinna, still unabsolved, noticed Girardi’s eagerness not to talk about it (she “doth protest too much” is an actual thing that Rinna said).

Perhaps inspired by the club performance they all watched earlier that night, Rinna even had a crude summary of the hour’s entanglements.

“It was like having sex without an orgasm: Nothing happened.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Tuesdays (9 p.m. ET) on Bravo.
