Because of the ink on her, um, backside, the film’s cinematographer Seamus McGarvey told The New York Times, he had to cast a “butt double” for the 26-year-old actress.
“I went through a phase where I loved tattoos, and I loved the feeling of getting tattooed,” Johnson told PORTER. “But now I’ve outgrown them mostly, and [because] I always have to cover them for jobs, God, they’re annoying!”
Johnson and the rest of the cast began filming the film’s sequel, Fifty Shades Darker, yesterday, according to the book’s author E. L. James.
James posted on Instagram “Day One #FSD Good luck to all the cast and crew” with a sneak peek picture of the set.
