See Princess Kate Without Her Signature Blowout!

Is there anything Princess Kate doesn’t look amazing in?

Wearing basic black, Adidas sneakers, and her hair pulled back in a simple updo, Kate went for a casual look to return home after a day of sailing in Portsmouth, England, on Friday.

The casual ensemble was the Duchess of Cambridge’s third outfit of the busy day spent supporting the 1851 Trust charity, which helps young people experience sailing, be exposed to jobs in the fields of science and technology and care for the environment.

When she arrived in Portsmouth, Kate wore an on-theme nautical skirt and white blouse. She later changed into a sportier look of long pants and a helmet to try her hand at high-speed sailing firsthand.

“We were all really impressed, she’s clearly done a fair amount of sailing before,” Olympic sailor Sir Ben Ainslie told PEOPLE. “She had a feel for the boat. It’s a really high-powered racing machine and to be able to steer one of those at close to 40 mph for even a skilled sailor is a real challenge and she did a great job. We had a wonderful sail.”

According to Ainslie, it won’t be long until Prince George and Princess Charlotte hit the high seas.

“She’s certainly keen to get [Prince George and Princess Charlotte] sailing at some time in the future,” he told PEOPLE. “It would be great to see them sailing. It’s always encouraging to see the next generation to come through.”
