The children are reportedly the daughters of famed Ukrainian pianist Vadym Kholodenko. The mother is believed to be Kholodenko’s estranged wife, Sofya Tsygankova.
The Tarrant County medical examiner’s office identified the children as Nika Kholodenko, 5, and 1-year-old Michela Kholodenko, but no cause of death has been determined, the KTVT reports.
The girls had no visible injuries, according to KXAS-TV.
Officers responded to a 911 call at around 9:30 a.m. and found Tsygankova suffering multiple stab wounds according to KXAS. She was rushed to a hospital and underwent surgery. Her current condition is unknown.
The victims are the daughters of Tsygankova and Vadym Kholodenko, an internationally-renowned pianist who lives in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Kholodenko was scheduled to perform three shows with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra this weekend.
A symphony spokesperson told the Star-Telegram: “We are currently formulating our plan for this weekend’s concerts in light of the developing situation.”
